Description
Multienzymatic Cleanser effectively cleans blood, proteins, fat, carbohydrates, and synthetic liquids from surgical instruments, flexible and rigid scopes, and other general health care equipment. CidalTek-Multienzyme having the combination of 4 enzyme concentrates for quick and effective pre-cleaning of surgical, medical and dental instruments, including flexible and rigid endoscopes. This multi-enzyme cleaner is highly-effective against proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and polysaccharides. CidalTek-Multienzyme suitable for use during ultrasonic bath, manual cleaning and automatic machines. It can be used on all metallic and plastic, medical and dental instruments including flexible and rigid endoscopes, ultrasonic probes, hospital linen and reusable catheters.
Solution should be prepared fresh.

How to Use:
Manual Pre-Cleaning
- Use 16 ml (1.6%) of CidalTek-Multienzyme per litre water for general purpose pre-cleaning. Additional amounts may be required for hard-to-remove matter.
- The enzymes in the CidalTek-Multienzyme have an optimum efficiency when used at a temperature of 95°F (35°C).
- It is recommended that these products be used between 68-122°F (20-50°C).
- The enzymes in the CidalTek-Multienzyme may become ineffective in water temperatures exceeding this level.
- CidalTek-Multienzyme will begin breaking down organic matter immediately.
- A minimum soak time of 5 minutes is recommended. Hard-to-remove matter may possibly require additional soak time.
- Once instruments have dried, sterilization or disinfection may follow according to appropriate procedures.
Automatic Cleaning Units
- Follow recommendations under manual pre-cleaning
- Endoscope Reprocessor require CidalTek-Multienzyme. For endoscope reprocessors, ultrasonic units and washer sterilizers/decontaminators, process instruments according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Thoroughly rinse CidalTek-Multienzyme from instruments making sure to aspirate rinse water through all channels, box locks, lumens, etc.
- Once instruments have dried, sterilization or disinfection may follow according to appropriate procedures.
- Only fresh, unused CidalTek-Multienzyme solution should be used.
- Used solution may be disposed of into sewage disposal system flushing with large quantities of water and in accordance with state or local regulations.
- DO NOT add other chemicals such as bleaches, peroxides or other detergents which could destroy the effectiveness of the CidalTek-Multienzyme.
